The Duroc Gran Reserva Ham is made from 100% Duroc Jersey pigs, the only breed allowed to cross with Iberian pigs for Iberian ham production due to its high fat marbling, similar to Iberian pigs. This ensures the high quality of hams from this breed.

This is a Gran Reserva Ham, produced under the quality standards required by the European Union to obtain the Traditional Specialty Guaranteed label it holds.

This Duroc Ham is produced without preservatives, in an artisanal way, and undergoes a very slow natural curing process that exceeds 25 months, 10 months longer than the required norm for the production of a Gran Reserva Serrano ham (15 months), which undoubtedly reflects in the extraordinary final product.
