Bait fed Iberian ham produced in Extremadura by Sierra de Monesterio, one of the best manufacturers of Iberian ham in Spain, internationally recognised for the high quality of its Iberian products.
This extraordinary Bait fed ham is made from 75% and 50% purebred Iberian pigs, reared in semi-freedom and fed on cereal-based feeds, in the traditional way, as tradition dictates for obtaining good Iberian ham, and cured very slowly in natural drying sheds, over a period of approximately 24 to 30 months.
Its producer has been awarded for the quality of its products both in international competitions and in Extremadura, for producing the best acorn fed Iberian ham in Monesterio.
